PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of precisely suppressing a secondary harmonic wave component with a smaller current consumption relative to a prior art.SOLUTION: The receiver includes: a differential amplifier circuit which has two amplifier circuits each of which has two transistors of a cascode configuration; and a low noise amplifier circuit of a cascode configuration, which amplifies a radio signal of single end with low noises and outputs the same as a differential radio signal. The receiver also includes: detection means that detects the secondary harmonic wave level which is generated on the low noise amplifier circuit; and control means that adjusts the capacity which is connected to the gate of each transistor in the low noise amplifier circuit according to the detected secondary harmonic wave level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
