Rotary turret with hydraulic control, especially an automatic indexing tool holder turret, characterised in that it comprises: - a hydraulic locking means 24, 26, 52 for the rotary plate of the turret; - a means 30, 38, 40 for providing centring, then polar and axial blocking of the plate in the desired position, this means, with hydraulic control, being coupled to the means for locking the plate so as to obtain centring, locking, then blocking of this plate; - a hydraulic motor 54 so as to actuate the locking means of the plate, the centring and blocking means of this plate, and so as to rotationally drive this plate; and - a hydraulic directional control valve 66, placed downstream of the motor 54 providing, via valves, the hydraulic control of the members of the turret according to the desired operational cycle. <IMAGE>
