PURPOSE:To automatically edit a graphic by detecting closed shape vector data from vector data, specifying the shape of the data, replacing the shape by a crisscross marker, and converting shape data to the vector data by rearranging the vector data. CONSTITUTION:When image data is inputted, it is converted to the vector data consisting of a start point, an end point, an angle, and width, and is stored in a vector storage means. The closed shape vector data is detected from read out vector data by a shape specifying means, and the shape of the data is specified. Also, a shape data storage means stores the shape data consisting of all the data required for the description of the shape. A replacing means replaces the shape by the crisscross marker, and cuts the shape from the vector data, and a vector arranging means rearranges the vector data including the crisscross marker. Furthermore, a shape data conversion means performs replacement in a vector image by using the crisscross marker, and converts the shape data to the vector data. Thereby, the graphic can be automatically converted. |
