PURPOSE:To make thinner a reflective LED by a constitution wherein the light emitted from a light emitting element is reflected on a concave reflective surface to the outside. CONSTITUTION:The LED comprises a circular reflective surface 18a wherein a concave reflective surface 18 for reflecting the light emitted from a light emitting element 12 is disposed oppositely to the emission surface of the element 12, and annular reflective surfaces 18b, 18c, 18d disposed stepwise thereabout. When the shapes of the circular reflective surface 18a and the annular reflective surfaces 18b, 18c, 18d are varied by varying the curvatures thereof, for example, the optical characteristics can be varied regardless of the thickness of the concave reflective surface 18 thus realizing a thinner LED. |
