PURPOSE: An electrical energy storage device where a metal film is formed and a method for preparing the metal film are provided, to reduce the electrical resistance between the anode terminal and the cathode terminal by increasing the contact area. CONSTITUTION: The electrical energy storage device comprises an electrode body(250) containing an anode and a cathode; an anode terminal and a cathode terminal which contain an electrolyte injection part and are formed in the electrode body; and a metal film(260) which is formed in the part of the anode and the cathode except the part corresponding the electrolyte injection part. The method comprises the steps of making the mask shielding only the electrolyte injection part; adhering the mask to the anode and the cathode; forming the metal film(260) on the anode and the cathode; and removing the mask. Preferably the electrolyte injection part is cross-shaped, and the mask has the cross-shaped coating prevention part.
