<p>The Fe base melt is deslagged prior to tapping into a ladle where it is degassed, pref. under vacuum. The melt and at least one of Ti, Nb, Ta are added during agitation. The carbonitrides are agglomerated and collected in the slag. The melt is then pref. pressure poured. Specif. steel contains >0.08%C, 1.00%Si, 0.045 % P, 0.030 %S, 17-19 % Cr, 9-12% Ni and >=5 times amt. of of C of ti.</p> |
