<p>A well casing is fitted in a radial aperture thereof with a stub conduit which is held in a radially retracted position while the casing is run into position but which is then extended radially to provide for communication between the casing and a producing formation, the conduit initially being blocked by a water-soluble plug which is isolated against premature contact with water by a removable element and/or material such as grease.</p> |
