<p>PURPOSE:To easily give a required soft feeling to a pad by generating the arbitrary combination of the kinds of resin of the inner and outer layers, as for the pad for an air bag device which is constituted so that the inner layer made of resin is covered by an outer layer made of the resin having the excellent soft feeling in comparison with that of the inner layer. CONSTITUTION:The pad of an air bag device consists of an inner cover 10 which is made of the resin having the shape holding function and is equipped with an upper wall 11 and a side wall extending downward from the peripheral edge of the upper wall 11, and an outer cover 20 which is made of the resin having the excellent soft feeling. The inner cover 10 has the thin parts 13c and 14c as the predetermined broke part on the side wall parts 13 and 14 except a hinge side side wall 12 as the hinge part in case of the expansion of the air bag, and an inner development part D1 is formed on the upper surface side of the inner cover. The outer cover 20 consists of a connecting piece 25 fixed with the hinge side side wall 12 of the inner cover 10 and an outer development part D2 which is connected with the connecting piece 25 in a hinge H- turnable manner, and is engagement-joined with the inner development part D1.</p> |
