PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for checking the presence or absence of the lack of an item to be filled in a specification from the retrieval hit situation of a keyword group characterizing the items of respective chapters. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a specification item checking means 10 constituted of a specification storage part 12 for storing respective chapters of a specification, a check result storage part 13 for storing the check results of the respective chapters, and a specification item checking part 11 which sequentially reads the chapters of the specification, displays the respective chapters that are read on the screen of a display 3, judges the presence or absence of the lack of an item from the presence or absence of the retrieval hit of a keyword group for characterizing each item of the respective chapters and writes the judged result into the check result storage part 13. |
