PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unbalance weight of high eccentricity efficiency and to provide a method for manufacturing the unbalance weight of high production efficiency. SOLUTION: The unbalance weight 1 fitted to a rotary oscillating device 6 is formed of a forged metal stock 25b which is fan-shaped in plan view, and an arc-shaped circumferential edge portion 2 is thicker-walled than other portion 3.
