THE MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION SAND FOR USE OF A SLAG

A preparing method of artificial fine sand for construction is provided to recycle blast furnace slag and to strengthen the constructed structure from materials comprising fine sand therein. A preparing method of artificial fine sand for construction comprises sequential steps of: primarily grinding blast furnace slag by abrupt temperature dropping caused by spraying water on the melted blast furnace slag discharged from steel-making process; selecting the ground blast furnace slag having diameter bigger than the standard size from the ground slag smaller than the standard; secondarily grinding the selected slag and sorting the ground blast furnace slag having diameter bigger than the standard size out of the ground slag smaller than the standard; mixing the ground slag having diameter smaller than standard size with water and washing out both fine dust having smaller diameter than needed and remaining washing water. The ground blast furnace slag selected before washing is optionally transferred through screw conveyer concurrently with abrading the ground slag particles for obtaining even particles, and the torque required for the transfer is adjusted depending on the desired size or shape of the particle.
