The system has autonomous beacons (1) communicating by microwave according to a specific sequence forming a circuit, where each of the beacon receives and emits information from and/or to other beacons. The beacons constitute an acquisition system for acquiring information e.g. presence or absence of vehicle on the park space, and for communicating the information to a management computer dedicated to the application. A single beacon controls a set of range-finders (4, 5) and is positioned between two parking spaces. A non dedicated management computer exploits the parking space.
