The wiper arms (100, 101) have a metal reinforcement provided with an array of partial sections, where the partial sections of the metal reinforcement are arranged in the form of a lattice. Fixing members (110, 111) are provided for attachment to a drive axle and joint parts (120, 121) for holding wiper blades (140, 141). A composite of a plastic material and the metal reinforcement are provided in a region of the fixing member and/or the joint part. The composite of the plastic material is made of a fiber reinforced or ball-strengthened plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a wiper arm. |
