PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a portion to be cooled in a sheet passage region by improving directivity of cooling air.SOLUTION: A fixation device comprises: a fixation roller pair 36 which fixes a toner image on a sheet by heating the sheet while conveying the sheet on which the toner image is formed; a fan 61 which blows air to the fixation roller pair 36; a plurality of shutters 64a to 64e which can be rotated to a shutdown position for shutting down the air between the fan 61 and the fixation roller pair 36 and a guide position for guiding the air from a sheet passage region side to a sheet non-passage region side of the fixation roller pair 36 obliquely in a direction from a central region to an end of the fixation roller pair 36; and a controller which selects the shutters 64a to 64c corresponding to the region width of a sheet non-passage region X of the plurality of shutters, rotates the selected shutters to the guide position, makes the selected shutters guide the air obliquely from the sheet passage region side to the sheet non-passage region side to cool the sheet non-passage region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
