The playcart has a tubular metal frame with an adjustable seat shell. It is steered by steering foot pedals near the front wheels, with the front wheels set in trailing configurations, and with the pedals interconnected for accurate control. A handgrip bar operates on a simple linkage to press a braking plate down onto the road for brake control. The playcart is designed to run down hills with a minimum of control.
