PURPOSE:To allow a caller to grasp concretely how a sent mail is processed by a recipient and to automate urged mail processing to the caller and the recipient. CONSTITUTION:When a recipient processes a mail, a reception terminal equipment sends the state (such as already received state, already circulated state and already replied state) to a transmission terminal equipment. A mail management control section 13 of the transmission terminal equipment sets it to a mail attribute storage section 32 and sets the content of the mail attribute storage section 32 to a display device 21 on request of the caller. Moreover, a notice method and a notice time for urging are set to a validity notice attribute storage section 33. The mail management control section 13 monitors the validity of the mail according to the content of the validity notice attribute storage section 33 to urge the mail processing to the user.
