PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an operator grasp an operation condition of a plant intuitively. SOLUTION: This support system for providing, to the operator, support information for supporting operation monitoring of the plant is provided with a process data acquiring means for obtaining a process data from the plant, a support information generating means for generating the various kinds of support information required by the operator in response to the operation condition of the plant based on the process data, and a support information providing means for optimizing the support information time-serially or spatially to be provided to the operator.
