PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque distribution control device capable of precisely carrying out heat radiation protection control. SOLUTION: This torque distribution control device is furnished with a torque transmission coupling 1 free to adjust torque transmission to a rear wheel of a vehicle by fastening a sliding part, a temperature estimation/heating/heat radiation computing part 81 to monitor a heat radiating status of the sliding part by at least one of estimation and computation and a first protection control part 83 to carry out heat radiation protection control of the torque transmission coupling 1 to lower the temperature status when the monitored temperature status is higher than a set threshold value, and the first protection control part 83 constitutes its characteristic feature of selecting whether to release the sliding part or to carry out the heat radiation protection control in accordance with the heating status or the heat radiating status of the sliding part to be found by a relation of torque working on the sliding part and differential rotation of the sliding part when the temperature status of the sliding part exceeds the threshold value T2.
