PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent printing plate having an improved dispersion stability, a redispersion property and a fixing property by polymerizing a specific monomer in a specific nonaqueous org. solvent in the presence of a dispersion stabilizer according to a polymerization pelletizing method, and then, by dying the obtd. dispersed resin with an org. dyestuff. CONSTITUTION:99.9-95mol% a monomer which is soluble to the nonaqueous solvent having >=10<9>OMEGAcm a volume resistivity and <=3.5 a permittivity, but insoluble to the solvent after the polymerization; and 0.1-5mol% a monofunctional monomer shown by formula I wherein R is >=8C an aliphatic group, X1 is -COO-, or -CONH- residue, Y1 and Y2 are each H or an alkyl group are polymerized in a solution contg. a copolymer which is soluble to said solvent composed of the monomers shown by formulas II and III wherein L is 8C an aliphatic group, Y3-Y7 are each H or an alkyl group, X is -COO- radical, Y is a binding group of X and an atomic group Z; Z is a -COO- binding group, to produce a resin dispersion. And then, the org. dyestuff is added to the obtd. resin dispersion and heated to color. The concentration of the resin dispersion is controlled with the solvent. By using the titled developer as mentioned above, the excellent printing plate is obtd. |
