The timing of the stack indexing movement as its height decreases is adjustable, the system being particularly for use on printing machines. A switch is mounted on a support plate movable by a horizontal adjusting bolt, and a pressure foot is coupled to a pull rod moving up and down with a roller actuating the switch. The plate moves on bosses parallel to the pull rod, and the axis of the adjusting bolt lies in the direction of transport. An eccentric ring can be mounted on the bolt, engaging in the groove in the plate. The design is simple in construction and easy to operate while in yse. |
