PURPOSE:To quickly heat a food without deteriorating the palatabllity, taste and flavor of the food. CONSTITUTION:This heating apparatus is provided with a 1st electrode 1 supporting a food F and a 2nd electrode 2 placed opposite to the 1st electrode 1 and contacting with the food F. Coils 3, 5 are placed at the back of respective electrodes 1, 2 and connected to a 1st power source 11 for supplying high-frequency current to the coils 3,5. The electrodes are heated by itself by the eddy current generated in the electrodes 1, 2. The electrodes 1, 2 are connected to a 2nd power source 12 to supply electric current to the food F through the electrodes 1, 2. The food F is heated by itself by the current from the power sources 11, 12 and by the heat transmitted from the heated electrodes 1, 2 to the food contacting with the electrodes. |
