PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona transfer electrifier capable of satisfactorily transferring a developed image, formed on an image carrier, to a recording medium whether environment humidity is high or lower. SOLUTION: Based on humidity detected by a humidity detector 66, a switch 62 is switched by a switching device 68, to change the resistance value of a discharge adjustment member 60 disposed in an area where a shield plate 56 surrounds a corona transfer wire 54. Thus, an amount of corona discharge is adjusted and a satisfactory transfer image can be formed. |
