<p>Holographic/diffraction grating effects produced on the surface of thermal dye transfer prints due to the surface distortion caused by laser heating are prevented by disrupting the regular grid pattern in a random manner. By causing such disruption over only part of the area of the image and by suitably arranging the non-disrupted areas, an identifiable pattern can be achieved.</p> |
