PURPOSE:To enable high-speed processing without decreasing analysis precision as to morpheme analyzing device which divides a Japanese text a into words and approves a part of speech of each word. CONSTITUTION:A section setting means 5 sets a section wherein paragraph formation is performed on the basis of change points of character kinds, etc. A minimum paragraph quantity control means 7 forms the smallest number of paragraphs covering a section by using a paragraph forming means 6. A condition decision means 8 decides whether previously determined additional formation conditions are met at a stage wherein the paragraph formation has been completed under the control of the minimum paragraph quantity control means 7. An additional formation control means 9 additionally performs paragraph formation of paragraphs more than the minimum number of paragraphs that are already formed only when the additional formation conditions are met. |
