PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of a squirrel cage type rotor having a duct by disposing core molds made of an aqueous soluble material axially at an adequate interval to form a laminated iron core, casing a bar with aluminum, and dissolving the core molds by water to remove the core molds. CONSTITUTION:A model of foamable styrol is disposed in a part to which a bar is inserted, and aqueous soluble core mold 3 of duct shape are formed of an aqueous soluble casting mold material. After the cores 3 are disposed at an adequate interval to form a laminated iron core 1, a foamable styrol disposed in the core mold 3 is baked and removed. The iron cores 1 are disposed in a mold, aluminum is cast in a slot to form a bar, the core mold 3 is then removed with water, and a duct is formed at the part in which the core mold 3 is disposed. |
