PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognizing device, by which high recognition accuracy is secured by teaching irreducibly minimum reference images. SOLUTION: This image recognizing device is provided with a target image input means for inputting a recognition target image, reference image input means for inputting plural reference images to become a recognition reference, internal reference image generating means for internally generating a reference image by applying interpolating processing to two of inputted plural reference images, collation means for calculation the degree of matching with each of reference images by collating the recognition target image with the point reference image and the internally generated reference image, and decision means for deciding recognition on the basis of the degree of matching.
