PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a polarizing plate having excellent appearance.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a polarizing plate includes: a step of forming a long-sized resin base material and a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer on one side of the resin base material to thereby obtain a laminate 10; a step of stretching the laminate 10; a step of dying the polyvinyl alcohol resin layer; a step of slitting a width-directional end 10a of the laminate 10 before dying; and a step of sticking the long-sized protective film to the polyvinyl alcohol resin layer after dying and stretching. An end surface in a longitudinal direction of the laminate 10 at the time of sticking is a cut surface formed by slitting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
