PURPOSE: To eliminate the troubesomeness of a user by performing the issue of a coupon ticket and the issue of a reserved-seat ticket by an automatic ticket issuing machine. CONSTITUTION: This automatic ticket issuing machine 1 is constituted of a display 2 displaying a guide, etc., for a user, a touch panel 3 where an input area is placed on the display so that it may be overlapped with the display, a paper money counter 4 for performing the settlement of accounts for the price for a ticket, a coin counter 5, a ticket issuing unit 6 printing and issuing the ticket (a coupon ticket and a reserved- seat ticket, etc.,), a ticket reader 7 reading the magnetic information on the inserted coupon ticket, a communication adapter 8 performing the transmission and reception of data with a host computer performing the ticket issuing control of seats and further, a control part 9 including a microprocessor controlling these equipments and a storage part storing programs, train information and reservation information, and the machine 1 is connected with a host computer 10 via a communication line. In accordance with the selection input information from the touch panel 3, either one of the processings of 'the issue of the coupon ticket', 'the issue of the coupon ticket and the reservation of a seat' and 'the reservation of the seat' is performed by an automatic ticket issuing machine. |
