<p>PURPOSE:To discharge combined bubbles generating in a draft tube outside the tube before they make spaces in the draft tube and to utilize the bubbles as agitation force in an aeration tank. CONSTITUTION:A gas-liquid separation tube 5 is installed in a draft tube 3 which is arranged vertically in an aeration tank so that a longitudinal circulating water current reaching the bottom of the tank can be generated easily. A screw type aerator 2 is placed above the gas-liquid separation tube 5; a bubble discharge pipe 6 for discharging combined bubbles outside the draft tube 3 is installed to project from the gas-liquid separation tube 5. In this way, efficient agitation can be conducted even in an aeration tank with a high depth of water.</p> |
