The toothbrush (10) has an outer thread positioned at the lower end of a handle (15), to which an elastic toothpaste container (14) can be joined with an inner thread located at its rim. On squeezing the container, a small proportion of toothpaste is guided through a duct inside the handle to outlets (19) in the bristle part (17). Several slightly different versions of the toothbrush with integrated toothpaste container are available.
