PURPOSE:To facilitate switching of assembling and electrifying system by constructing a brushless motor with first and second stators coupled in the direction of a rotor shaft with magnetic poles thereof being shifted by 1/4 pitch and an encoder having sections to be detected which are integer times of the number of rotor pole. CONSTITUTION:Pole chips 105A, 106A are formed by extending the magnetic body sections on the under faces of upper and lower section stators 102, 103 upward at the inner circumferential section, and the pole chips 105A, 106A are shifted by 1/4 pitch each other. Pole chips 105B, 106B are also formed similarly. The entire circumferential section is magnetized alternately with N and S poles integer times of the number of poles in a magnet rotor 111 as magnetic pole sections, in a magnetic encoder 118 arranged coaxially with the magnet rotor 111 below a flange 120, and an electrical signal having electrical phase shift of 90 deg. is outputted from a magnetic sensor arranged at a position facing with the magnetic pole section. |
