<p>PURPOSE: To form an economic shoelace device by providing a first fastener means for fastening an adjusting means in an adjusted position and a second fastener means for fastening the shoelace adjusted by the adjusting means. CONSTITUTION: In respect to a shoe with shoelace device 14 which can be operated by one hand, when putting on the shoelace device, first, shoelace 32 is mounted to adjusting and fastening member 38 and adjusted roughly to a desired tensile force. Hook member 40 is made in conformity with eye member 54 and engage with the same. Next, crimping sleeve 50 is released, and tip portion 34 of shoelace becomes longer or shorter. Then, the final adjustment and fastening of shoelace is performed as the shoelace is fastened. Shoelace 32 can be maintained in the final desired position even when the shoe is taken off while only the hook member 40 is removed from eye member 43.</p> |
