PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management method of a vehicle for railroad maintenance for improving the efficiency of maintenance work between and among a maintenance management room, a station management room, and a vehicle for maintenance. SOLUTION: A working schedule for maintenance is created between the station management room B side and the maintenance management room A side through computer devices 11, 21, and the working schedule is inputted from the maintenance management room side into the computer device 31 of the vehicle C side for maintenance through an electronic data recording medium D. During maintenance work, a starting requirement and an ending requirement of the maintenance work are made from the screen of a monitor 32 to the station management room side through the computer device of the vehicle side for maintenance and a communication line. When obtaining the approval of the starting requirement, positional data of the vehicle for the maintenance of an ID tag 7 disposed on an entrance and exit place of each maintenance railroad section 6 is transmitted to the computer device 21 of the station management room side through the communication line to make the monitor 22 display the position of the vehicle for maintenance existing in each maintenance railroad section.
