PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type seedling transplanter, with which the supply of subsidiary materials to a field and seedling planting are carried out, while keeping a fixed relation, at all times. SOLUTION: Since the operation of a seedling planting apparatus 4 is stopped, each time the seedling planting apparatus 4 finishes the seedling planting operation of a single stock in a field by the intermittent operation mechanism K of the seedling planting apparatus 4. During the procedure, subsidiary materials (fertilizer, agrochemical, and the like) are supplied from a subsidiary material feed tank 44 and a feed part 44a to the seedling planting apparatus 4; and next, since the subsidiary materials can be fed to a field before seedlings, when seedlings are planted in a field, the subsidiary materials can be surely fed to a field, and the supply of the subsidiary materials to the seedling planting apparatus 4 will not be in the way of supplying seedlings to the seedling planting apparatus 4, regardless of the change in the operation stoppage time of the seedling planting apparatus 4.
