PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of traveling noise and the formation of emulsion waste by forming layers of a slipping agent on the surfaces of the perforation parts (parts having sending holes) of a silver halide photographic sensitive material so as to pass smoothly the sensitive material through a device without exerting any influence on other photographic characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of the perforation parts of a silver halide photographic sensitive material are coated with 10-50mg/m<2> slipping agent such as polysiloxane having polyoxyalkylene in the side chain represented by formula I (where X+Y+Z=30) or alkylpolysiloxane represented by formula II. Any compound which improves the slipping property of the surfaces of the perforation parts may be used in plate of the polysiloxane. A silver halide photographic sensitive material generating little traveling noise and forming no film waste in a device such as a camera or a projector by smooth traveling is obtd. |
