In a cable injection appliance with an injection plug connected to the end of a protective tube, a push device guiding the cable into the injection plug is adjustably arranged relative to the injection plug in order to insert cables of different diameter concentrically into the injection plug. A seal adapted to the respective cable diameter is interchangeably provided in the injection plug. To attach the injection device to protective tubes of different diameter, appropriate adapters can be inserted into the protective-tube receiving part of the injection device (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
