<p>The manure tank (1) is fitted below walk grid (2) in e.g. a cattle shed, or pig-sty. Tank (1) contains a liq. mixture of manure and urine mixed with water. On top of this mixture floats a layer of e.g. vegetable oil (4). Tank (1) has a vertical mounted partition panel, positioned to leave a bottom flow gap (7). Near partition panel is a bottom mounted barrier (10) to avoid draining liq. from layer (4). Fresh liq. is supplied through dust (9).</p> |
