<p>PURPOSE: To increase a printing speed by judging the presence of down load data and limiting the transition setting the power supply state from a main power supply from an ON state to an OFF state. CONSTITUTION: When down load data is inputted from a host computer 120, a peripheral machinery controller 109 accesses a current transformer 106. Then, a switching power supply control IC 104 judges that an interface 130 or the peripheral machinery controller 109 is accessed not to turn a power supply OFF. When the interface 130 is accessed and the main switching operation of a switching power supply is started, power is supplied to the peripheral machinery controller 109 and an interface circuit 110.</p> |
