<p>PURPOSE: To provide a diesel particulate filter in which sealing is secured at both ends of the filter, while exhaust gas is filtered without fail. CONSTITUTION: In a diesel particulate filter 20, both ends of the filter are sandwiched between a cylindrical first means 21 which has unevenness to be engaged with corrugated unevenness provided inside of the filter and a second means 22 which has a projection to be engaged with a corrugated recession provided outside of the filter. A fastening means 23 fastens the filter from the outside of the second means in in the thickness direction. On both ends of the filter, accordingly, close fitting is shown between the cylindrical filter material and its seal cap and sealing is performed with certainty, so that the exhaust gas filtered at both ends of the filter without fail for leakage.</p> |
