摘要

FIELD: ignition systems primarily for gas-turbine engines. SUBSTANCE: spark plug is effectively cooled and carbonization of its electrode is reduced due to air curtain provided above its electrode. Its deflector is fastened to butt end of its shell by means of barrier made in the form of open ring following shell profile and forms slit channel above electrode end; at least one outlet hole of cooling space is provided on shell end between electrode and barrier section opposing its closed portion; outlet hole of deflector communicates with slit duct. EFFECT: improved service life, reliability, and starting characteristics of spark plug. 1 dwg
