PURPOSE:To obtain good images which are free from image fogging by setting the weight ratio of magnetic material powder with the toner granular material of the toner for supply in the initial period larger than the weight ratio of the magnetic material powder to the toner granular material of the toner for replenishment. CONSTITUTION:The weight ratio of the magnetic material powder to the toner granular material of the toner for supply in the initial period is set larger than the weight ratio of the magnetic material powder to the toner granular material of the toner for replenishment. The increase in the image fogging, the supply of the more than needed magnetic material powder and the decrease of a transfer rate in the initial period of copying of an electrostatic transfer type copying machine are, therefore, not resulted. The cost increase is thus obviated and the good images having the decreased image foggings are obtd. in the initial period of copying and the subsequent copying. The relation between the weight ratio (a) of the magnetic material powder to the toner granular material of the toner for supply in the initial period and the weight ratio (b) of the magnetic material powder to the toner granular material of the toner for replenishment is preferably 1.1b<=a<=4.0b. |
