<p>PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of a sewing thread due to concentration of an tensile force by mounting a suspension belt on the inner side of an air bag body, sewing the end part of the suspension belt to a belt catch, and specifying the shape and the sewing pitch of a specified sewing part. CONSTITUTION:An end part 31a of a suspension belt 31 is sewn to a belt catch 23. The belt catch 23 is sewn to the outer peripheral edge of a gas injection port 27 of a member 21b on the rear side of an air bag body 21 by using a sewing-on part 25. In this case, a sewing-on part 25a, in a position where the suspension belt 31 is sewn on, of the sewing-on part 25 is formed linearly in direction extending at right angles with the longitudinal direction of the suspension belt 31. The sewing pitch of the linear sewing-on part 25a is set to a value lower than that of other swing-on part 25b where no suspension belt 31 is sewn. This constitution prevents a tensile force applied on the suspension belt 31 from being concentrated to one point of the sewing-on part 25, and prevents breakage of a sewing thread.</p> |
