PURPOSE: To provide a small-sized ultraviolet treatment apparatus high in productivity capable of continuously treating both upper and rear surfaces at the same time. CONSTITUTION: Ultraviolet lamps 2 arranged up and down so as to be capable of irradiating an article to be treated with ultraviolet rays from above and below, a linear support means 3 for supporting the article to be treated between the ultraviolet lamps and a linear feed means 4 feeding the article to be treated in the gap between the ultraviolet lamps and feeding out the irradiated article to be treated from the gap between the ultraviolet lamps are provided. The feed means has rising, advancing, falling and retreating functions and raises the article to be treated to advance and subsequently falls to place the article to be treated on the support means and retreats to the first position.
