PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic flux type control device for a permanent magnet type generator and motor, in which a cylindrical member is provided in the external circumferential side of a stator core to easily control a magnetic flux depending on the number of rotations of a rotor, the cylindrical member is formed in a simple constitution and the rigidity and strength thereof can be enhanced. SOLUTION: The cylindrical member 37 is disposed relatively rotatably and close to the external circumferential side of the stator 4. The cylindrical member 37 is formed of a couple of semicylindrical members 6, 7, divided into two sections at the center in the axial direction. The semicylindrical members 6, 7 are driven by a rotation actuator 9 to slide in the reverse direction with each other, in order to cancel the generated reactive forces. Recessed grooves 11 are formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction at the internal circumferential surface 42 of the semicylindrical members 6, 7. When the recessed groove 11 is located at a position in the radial direction corresponding to a comb section 20 of the stator core 39, the flow of the magnetic flux is reduced, and when a projected portion 25 is located at a position in the radial direction corresponding to the comb section 20, the flow of the magnetic flux is increased. |
