LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME

A liquid crystal display and a method for driving the same are provided to increase the viewing angle by generating voltage difference on each sub pixel electrode. A first and a second gate line are arranged side by side to the first direction. The data line is insulated with the first gate line and data line is crossed. The pixel electrode is made of first and the second sub-pixel electrode. The thin film transistor(T1) is connected to the first gate line, and data line and the first sub-pixel electrode. The second thin film transistor(T2) is connected to the first gate line, and data line and the second sub-pixel electrode. The third thin film transistor(T3) is connected to the charge sharing capacitor distributing data voltage applied at the second gate line, and the second sub-pixel electrode and the second sub-pixel electrode.
