PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling efficiency of a radiator of a fully closed rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A fully closed rotary electric machine 100 includes: a rotor 10 having a rotor shaft 11 and a rotor core 12; a stator 20 having a stator core 21 and a stator coil 22; a frame 30; a radiator 41 in which a plurality of cooling tubes 42 that cool circulating fluid with external air in the tubes are arranged in parallel, the circulating fluid cooling the stator 20 and the rotor core 12; and a radiator cover 43 that is attached to the upper part of the frame 30 to enclose the radiator 41, and communicates with the frame 30 through a radiator entrance port 31 and a radiator exit port 32. The fully closed rotary electric machine 100 further includes: an inner fan 15 that is attached to a rotor shaft 11 and configured to circulate the circulating fluid in the frame 30; and an adjusting fan 61 that is provided in the radiator cover 43 and above the radiator 41 and is configured to generate a rotational flow of the circulating fluid around a vertical shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
