According to the bulk-type organic-inorganic hybrid thermoelectric material of the present invention, polymer and Bi_2Te_3 are physically and chemically combined with each other, so that the electric and thermal properties are changed, thereby improving the thermoelectric figure of merit. In addition, the bulk-type organic-inorganic hybrid thermoelectric material has a property suitable to a thermoelectric field as a thermoelectric material. In advance, Bi_2Te_3 powder is prepared through a method for preparing a bulk-type organic-inorganic hybrid thermoelectric material, so that the firing temperature for preparing a final organic-inorganic hybrid thermoelectric material is reduced to be prepared in a bulk-type.
