PURPOSE:To deal with the increase of the control data, to effectively reduce the noises, and to simplify the control in an optical exchange system by decreasing the number of devices that control all switches as well as the number of optoelectric transducers and also controlling each switch with optical signals. CONSTITUTION:A distributing part 1 sends an optical control signal 8 including the control information turned into an optical signal to each switch part 4. An optical amplifier part 2 amplifiers the signals 8 distributed by the part 1. Each optical transmission part 6 transmits the signal 8 amplified by the part 2 to each part 4. Then each switch control part 3 switches the message channel of the signal 8 for each part 4 based on the received information on the signal 8. |
