PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microstrip antenna whose size is minimized by adopting a split array configuration for a left radiation path and a right radiation path on an upper side of a dielectric material so as to minimize the leakage current. SOLUTION: In the microstrip antenna consisting of a ground path on which a feeder exists and a dielectric material layered thereon, the right radiation patch adopting an array later is placed on an upper side at the right of the dielectric material with a radiation slot in between so as to realize a statistic capacitance between the left radiation patch layered on the dielectric material and short-circuited to one end of the ground patch and the left radiation patch short-circuited to the other end of the ground patch, and the ground patch includes a triangle right ground plate, a connection plate and the left ground plate covered to a lower side at one end of the dielectric material.
