PURPOSE:To provide a variable-speed motor being small-sized and excellent in temperature characteristics, in which the omission of a wiring can be realized and a speed detection element is positioned easily. CONSTITUTION:A variable-speed motor has a structure where a motor cover is provided in the rear part of a motor body 1 and a motor-driving capacitor, speed control circuit and speed detection element are mounted in the motor cover. In this case, when a Hall IC is used as speed detection element, the influence by temperature is reduced because the rotational speed of the motor is detected by frequency. Also, when the speed detection element is directly mounted on a printed board and a pawl for positioning the printed board is provided in the cover, the speed detection element is positioned easily. |
